On October 6 2017, Victor Efthimiades, Axiom’s Executive Director, presented on Proximity Marketing at the Digital Marketing Conference, organized by Vestnik Kipra and the Cyprus Institute of Marketing at the St Raphael Hotel in Limassol.
In his speech, Victor outlined the dimensions of Proximity Marketing, which extend beyond mere location marketing, to timing and relevance. He explained that proximity marketing is all about marketing to the right customers at the right place, at the right time, with relevant and personalized campaign communications. Victor also offered practical methods and tips for using proximity marketing.
In an earlier plenary session, Victor explained marketing fatigue and its importance in a company's communication strategy.
The event, organized annually, aims at equipping marketing specialists and business owners with the latest trends and best practises in digital marketing. The 2017 edition featured a significant panel of speakers and attracted more than 200 participants, with strong interest from the Russian business community established in Cyprus.
